The experimental group consisted of 75 junior students who had gone through a new study experience in clinical method for one year who responded to questionnaire .given by 25, Feb. 1977 and the control group consisted of 73 senior students who /had finished the junior class of clinical study in the traditional method by 28, Feb. 1976.
We prepared a questionnaire as shown below for the purpose of measuring the effect of the new clinical study method;
1) Their expectations about the clinical study and how much of their expectations had been fulfilled.
2) Their relationship with the clinical instructor,
3) How useful were the material used in the clinical study and
4) The students abilities about nursing care planning and implementation according to nursing need.
The constructed questionnaire was distributed to both groups and tested by percentage, X2-test and t-test.
To view of these consequences, we make following suggestions;
1) To have the students participate in deciding any educational policy to establishing clearly the education purpose for the students,
2) In preparing. the plan for clinical study work plan it so as to avoid overlapping content,
3) To prepare the clinic study schedule that student may work relieved as much as possible from strain,
4) To allot 16 hours to the clinical work a week and in order for continuity of care and study patient, to change 8 hrs. a day to 5 or 6 hrs. a day making for 3 full days a week,
5) To have practice during the early evening duty time that the student may be experienced to face any situation,
6) Follow-up research should be prepared to study how, without increasing the number of clinical class hours, the theoretical basic knowledge, nursing plans and performance may be improved and

7) The clinical instructor should make efforts to help students solve complicated problems faced by them without any strain, in a word the clinical instructor must not ignore his or her own character in working with students.
